I’ve wanted to host basic blog something to capture and share thoughts in addition to myriad other homelab services for some time. I wanted it to be simple. I knew I wanted something using a static site generator and version control. Of course.

I stumbled upon 512kb.club.

After browsing through nearly ever single entry something about https://www.ranvier.net/ just captured my attention. The simplicity and styling, perhaps Fira Code, was exactly what I was looking for.

I’ve shamlessly copied the hugo template, tweaked a few bits, and struck out on my own.
